Chair of Physical Geography

The chair of physical geography teaches and conducts research primarily in the fields of geomorphology and hydrology, environmental processes and natural hazards. Close links are being sought and maintained between research and teaching - for example, our students participate in courses that are held in the context of current research projects. Together with the other working groups in physical geography, the chair has set up the website umweltgeographie.ku.de, where you can find a wealth of information about our joint teaching and research activities.
