After studying geography with the minor subject business administration (B.Sc.) at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Ms. Störmann successfully completed the master's program (M.Sc.) "Tourism and Regional Planning - Management and Geography" at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
In her master's thesis named "Evaluation of a major event using the example of the 700th anniversary of the city of Merano/Meran", she examined the effects of events and investments surrounding the 700th anniversary of the city of Merano in South Tyrol, Italy, with regard to the identity formation of the population. The main topics of the thesis included the impact of sustainable cultural investments and the importance of new and innovative ways of communicating history. In this context, she worked closely with the municipality of Merano and accompanied numerous events in order to carry out an evaluation and to scientifically substantiate what had been achieved.
Before Ms. Störmann joined the Chair of Tourism / Center for Entrepreneurship at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt as a research assistant, she worked for PROJECT Real Estate AG in Nuremberg in the field of real estate research and strategic project development.
