We examine psychological processes of learning and development both in the moment when they occur and as long-term developmental pathways in adolescence and young adulthood. We also look at the impacts of meso- and macro-level contexts such as teachers, parents, and institutional structures.
Our applied research focuses on intervention strategies. This includes the evidence-based development of digital learning designs, the development of process-diagnostic instruments as a basis for individualized learning and adaptive teaching, and the evaluation of interventions for vocational orientation in adolescence.
