Letter of Recommendation

If you would like to have an expert opinion (e.g. for a scholarship) prepared by the Chair, please note the following regulations:

• You must have attended at least two courses at the chair in the Bachelor's or Master's degree programme or have written the final thesis. If you have taken less than two courses at the Chair as a Bachelor student, please also submit a one-page letter of motivation in the target language of the report.
• You must have completed all subjects with at least the grade "good".
• First, contact a member of staff you know personally. Only in exceptional cases please write to the secretariat.
• A personal meeting with Prof. Andre Habisch or one of his staff members is obligatory at the beginning of the review process. Remote appraisals by e-mail are excluded.
• In addition, you will receive a questionnaire, which you must answer in the respective target language of the review (usually German/English) and return to the respective contact person.
• Reports must be requested at least three weeks before the deadline.
• Student assistants of the chair are exempt from these regulations.
