Technical development is progressing ever faster in almost all areas of life. Products that seemed unthinkable just a few years ago are now a reality. Numerous examples of innovative achievements can be found in the consumer goods industry, especially in the telecommunications and media sectors.
However, advancing mechanization is also increasingly raising new questions about legal backgrounds. For example, when selling goods and services, it must be clarified which technical requirements and quality standards must be complied. In addition, new developments and designs must be protected.
The chair therefore concentrates its research in particular on issues of technology and distribution law.
A legally secure and future-proof drafting of contracts is of paramount importance for all areas of business life. Skillful contract drafting anticipates potential problems and changes, identifies creative solutions and thus avoids risks, business crises and loss of assets.
The lectures and seminars offered by the Chair provide basic knowledge of Cautelar jurisprudence. In particular, essential questions of company formation, restructuring and company succession are discussed.
Soft skills are becoming more and more important for entry-level jobs, careers and everyday business life, which means emotional intelligence and social competence. Mastering them means acting respectfully, appreciating other persons work, working in a team, negotiating successfully and asserting oneself.
