Legal regulations

Please note that despite the KU’s international focus, German is the only official language at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. This means that the German version of all legal regulations issued by the Legal Affairs department is the only legally binding version. We provide English convenience translations of the most important legal regulations for your information, which you will find under “English translations of legal regulations”.

Should you require information on any other legal regulation which is only available in German, or if you have a general question concerning legal issues, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time – we are happy to help!

The KU passes statutes, regulations and other regulatory frameworks, which you will find on the following webpages. If you require an earlier version of a KU legal regulation or if you require a KU legal regulation which is not included in the list, please contact Department V: Legal Affairs (monika.schlapschy(at)ku.de). Some legal regulations are marked with “approval procedure ongoing” if they have not yet come into force. Please note that the version which enters into force may be different from the preliminary version marked with "approval procedure ongoing" and that this might entail retroactive changes.
