Guidelines for respectful workplace communication at the University

In its Mission Statement, the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt commits itself to an appreciative interaction of all University members that is based on mutual respect for the individual personalities and dignity of fellow human beings. Therefore, all KU members contribute to successful interaction with each other through mindful and considerate behavior and appreciative communication.

Disturbances in this interaction can show in many ways; especially any form of violence and threat of violence (whether psychological or physical), discrimination, bullying and stalking will not be tolerated at the KU. In such cases, both students and employees can turn to contact persons who will seek to resolve the conflict. In particularly serious incidents, which may have consequences under criminal and labor law, the University Management and, if necessary, the police must be informed.

The University Management has adopted a guideline which contains basic statements regarding interactions at our University as well as information on how to proceed in the event of conflicts and lists the relevant contact persons who can be contacted depending on the situation and group of persons:
