Due to demolition work in the basement, there will be increased construction noise over the next few days.

If necessary, please use our departmental libraries or visit us during the quieter evening hours.

From October 13, 2025, longer opening hours will apply again at our libraries in Eichstätt:

Sixty years after its opening, the Hofgarten Library building will undergo renovation starting in 2026. This will primarily involve fire safety and building services upgrades to ensure the preservation and long-term protection of the historical collections.

To ensure a pleasant indoor climate in the future, extensive renovations to the Main Library's ventilation and heating system will begin during the lecture-free period. From 2027, the new system will provide optimal air quality and comfortable temperatures year-round.

Whether it's finding and ordering books, searching for subject-specific information, organizing literature, managing research data, or publishing your own work, we can support you with tips, tricks, and experience in the library's wide range of courses and offerings.
