The University Library will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

From December 22, 2025 to January 11, 2026, there will be different opening hours.

Due to demolition work in the basement, there will be increased construction noise over the next few days.

If necessary, please use our departmental libraries or visit us during the quieter evening hours.

From October 13, 2025, longer opening hours will apply again at our libraries in Eichstätt:

Sixty years after its opening, the Hofgarten Library building will undergo renovation starting in 2026. This will primarily involve fire safety and building services upgrades to ensure the preservation and long-term protection of the historical collections.

The University Library will be closed on Friday, October 3, 2025, for German Unity Day.

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Main Library and the Branch Library Ingolstadt will be open.
