To ensure a pleasant indoor climate in the future, extensive renovations to the Main Library's ventilation and heating system will begin during the lecture-free period. From 2027, the new system will provide optimal air quality and comfortable temperatures year-round.

Due to work on the IT network, access to network services (Internet, network drives, telephony, etc.) at the Ingolstadt campus may be unavailable or severely restricted on Saturday, 2 August, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.

The University Library will have modified hours from August 1 to October 12 in Eichstätt and from August 8 to September 28, 2025, in Ingolstadt.

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, there might be delays in the delivery of ordered books due to an internal event. The Main Library will have limited service and information.

Until August 3 the Branch Library Ingolstadt is open every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as until 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays.
