New research assistens

We are pleased to welcome Ms. Lena Huber to the chair as a new research assistant and doctoral candidate on 01.07.2024. Ms. Huber will strengthen our team, especially in the area of “Sustainability”.

Congratulations on the fellowship

Florian Habermann, former employee and external habilitation candidate at our chair, has received a fellowship from the German Scholars Organization to participate in the GSO Leadership Academy. We would like to congratulate Florian on this outstanding success, the fellowship is endowed with 10,000 EUR, and we wish him a lot of fun and success in the course of the fellowship program

Congratulations on accepting the call!

We congratulate Dr. Habermann on his appointment as Assistant Professor at Radboud University in Nijmegen, which he has accepted as of 01.11.2023.

We very much regret that he has left the chair as a result. However, Dr. Habermann will remain closely associated with the Chair. We are very much looking forward to the joint research projects and a possible collaboration in teaching.

The Refinitiv and Bloomberg terminals are now located on the 2nd basement floor of the Ingolstadt branch library.

Research stay at Deakin University in Australia

At the end of September/beginning of October 2023, Prof. Göttsche and Dr. Habermann will travel to Deakin University in Burwood, Victoria, Australia for a research stay. The topic of the joint research project with Prof. Dr. Peter Carey is “The impact of mandatory sustainability reporting on the corporate governance of small and medium-sized enterprises”. Lecture Series "Sustainable Development"

Our colleague Florian Habermann gave a talk on the topic of "Sustainable Management" as part of the lecture series "Sustainable Development" on Monday, January 23rd, 2023. It was a special pleasure to participate in the lecture series. We enjoyed the lively discussion with students from different scientific disciplines.

Change of research associate

Unfortunately, Mr. Lars Brüske has left the chair on January, 31, 2023. We wish him all the best for his future career.

We would like to welcome Mr. Alexander Grommes as a research assistant to the chair team in April 01, 2023 and look forward to working with him. Mr. Grommes is dedicated to the focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

BayFor-Fudning Research stay University Innsbruck

We are very pleased about the funding approval for the research project "Corporate Governance, Non-Financial Reporting, Materiality and Real Effects: Impacts on Environment and Society", which Prof. Dr. Max Göttsche and our colleague Dr. Florian Habermann have received. In October, Professor Max Göttsche and Florian Habermann visited Edith Cowan University in Perth. During the stay, potential research topics were discussed with Professor Simone Scagnelli and other fellows from the School of Business and Law.
