The new Chair of Economics, esp. Sustanable Economic Policy is managed by Prof. Dr. Maria Waldinger has been professor of Economics, esp. Sustainable Economic Policy since April 1st, 2025. 

We offer varios courses for Bachelors and Masters in the context of Sustainable Economic Policy.

Our main research areas include the effects of and adaptation to climate change, the consequences of environmental pollution on health and labor productivity as well as topics from economic history and development economics.
