New publication

The article “Integrated consideration of assembly line scheduling and feeding: A new model and case study from the automotive industry” has been accepted for publication in "Computers & Industrial Engineering".

Together with Daniel Müllerklein and Frederik Ostermeier, we developed an new model for the integrated considertation of line feeding policies and scheduling decisions for a mixed-model assembly line. The results were evaluated in a real case study with an automotive company and show that the integrated consideration reduces costs by 18% compared to existing approaches from the literature.
