The SmartStart Teacher Academy is a groundbreaking Erasmus+ initiative dedicated to transforming teacher education across Europe. Our mission is to equip primary teachers and student teachers with the skills to integrate AI-based digital media into the classroom, making learning more personalized, inclusive, and engaging.

Developing Innovative AI-Powered Training for Teachers

AI in Education: We develop cutting-edge AI tools to support multilingual classrooms, enhance individualized learning, and simplify teaching workflows.
AI-Based Translation Tool Babylon: Breaking down language barriers, our tool enables seamless communication among educators and students across Europe.
Digital Learning Portfolio: A comprehensive collection of AI-driven teaching resources, lesson plans, and best practices tailored for primary schools.

Providing A Two-Stage European Training Program

Online Learning – An interactive course covering the technological, pedagogical, and ethical aspects of AI and digital media in primary education.
School-Based Practice – Hands-on training in real classrooms, using Erasmus+ mobility programs to connect teachers across seven European countries.

International Collaboration & Research

Network of 9 Universities & Teacher Training Institutions across Europe.
