LTAS is a unique conference aimed at introducing young researchers to the world of service research and supporting them on their path into academia. For each edition, a workshop on a specific topic is selected, giving participants the opportunity to learn something new about research and publishing in the field of services. In the 2025 edition of LTAS, the focus laid on (1) exploring the foundations of service research, (2) coaching participants to develop future-proof service ideas, and (3) pitching these research ideas for top scholars and editors from service and related journals.
Next to Prof. Dr. Valerie Zeithaml and Prof. Dr. Kaisa Koskela-Huotari, Prof. Dr. Jens Hogreve served as a keynote speaker reflecting on what service research means for him and diving into his work on service productivity and the service profit chain.
