Regional and Urban Economis (jeweils im WS)
This lesson uses standard economic approaches to explain patterns in urban and regional economies. The lesson will give a comprehensive overview of the most important theoretical and empirical approaches in urban and regional economies. We will address such questions as:
- Are we able to explain economically the existence, and the size, of cities?
- Why are there different growth rates in different regions?
- Why are there different unemployment rates?
- Why do people migrate between different regions?
- ...and many other interesting topics...
