Masterclass zur Digitaltagung "Eine bessere Gesellschaft bauen. Architektur, Gesellschaft und Religion in der Digitalzeit" vom 25.-26.11.2021

This masterclass is aimed at researchers working at the intersection of theology, architecture, city planning, cultural and religious studies. Some of the questions we want to address are:

•    How do space and architecture become sources for research?
•    Is there a specific theology of space and place?
•    How do we deal with social issues, for instance access and commercialization?

The masterclass is hosted by
Prof. Katie Day, professor emerita of Church in Society at the United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia
Dr. Elise Edwards, assistant professor at the Department of Religion at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and practicing architect
Katie Day and Elise Edwards are the editors of the The Routledge Handbook of Religion and Cities.

The masterclass is open to projects in all stages, from tentative research questions to final analysis and is designed to help projects grow in a fostering and open atmosphere.
If you want to participate, please send a short abstract (max. 250 words until November 9th) to Christian Henkel at
