Your stay abroad in the third semester must be planned immediately after the start of studies in the first master's semester. Any necessary language certificates (especially TOEFL) should therefore already have been completed before the start of your studies or should be completed in a timely manner.
Study achievements during the semester abroad can be recognized in the elective and compulsory elective areas of the MIB. When drawing up a learning agreement for the recognition of elective courses, please first contact the relevant module coordinator of the KU. If they agree in writing to your proposed credit, you may submit an appropriately documented request to the Chairperson of the MIB Board of Examiners.
The International Office of the KU will be happy to assist you in finding, planning and financing a semester abroad.
You will submit your application for credit transfer for academic work completed abroad to the central contact point for credit transfer in the Examinations Office. There, your documents will be reviewed and then forwarded to the MIB Board of Examiners for approval.
