Research

The professorship for Physical Geography / Landscape Ecology and Sustainable Ecosystem Development is characterized by the research fields: Pollination, Phenology and ash shoot death, while the KU Weather station provides important information and measurements. In addition to KU-funded proFOR+ studies, the DFG (German Research Foundation) and a number of other universities are also involved in the research projects of the professorship. Currently, cooperation is taking place with universities in Erlangen, Munich, Freising, Augsburg, Regensburg, Bayreuth, Würzburg and the HU Berlin.
