Research Interests

Calculus of Variations and Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations, in particular Variational Multiscale, Problems with Differential Constraints and Applications in Materials Science, Imaging and Machine Learning:

  • non-convex variational problems, notions of convexity, relaxation
  • asymptotic analysis, Gamma-convergence, dimension reduction, homogenization
  • PDE constraints, differential inclusions
  • rigidity arguments, nonlocality
  • mathematical models in elasticity and plasticity theory
