The credit transfer request can be withdrawn as long as the board of examiners has not yet made a decision.
Please submit the withdrawal of your credit transfer request to the Examinations Office. Please use the contact form and select your degree program and the category "Anrechnung: Rücknahme eines Anrechnungsantrags” (recognition: withdrawal of a credit transfer request).
However, once a credit transfer decision has been made, it is binding. A module to which credit was transferred is deemed to have been successfully passed. This means that the request can no longer be withdrawn afterwards.
If you discover shortly after submitting the request that you have forgotten to include important information or need to correct the details of the source or target modules, please use the contact form and select your degree program and the category "Anrechnung: Rückfrage zum Antrag” (recognition: Query regarding the request). Please specify the request reference number.
It is no longer possible to correct the request if a decision has already been made on the request.
If approval of your credit transfer request has been refused in whole or in part, the reasons for the rejection are set out in the notification of recognition (PDF file provided by the KU in the credit transfer portal). The notification includes information on legal remedies.
In this case, you can request that this decision be reviewed by the Presidium in accordance with Section 7 (10) of the KU crediting guidelines. The Presidium will then make a recommendation to the board of examiners regarding the further handling of the credit transfer request.
Once the review process has been completed, you will receive a new notification including information on legal remedies.
In order to request a review, please contact the Examinations Office using the contact form, select your degree program and the category "Anrechnung: Überprüfung der Anrechnungsentscheidung” (recognition: review of the crediting decision) and attach the crediting decision.
