You can find continuing education courses on a wide variety of topics related to educational and academic staff development in higher education on the KU’s continuing education platform.

ILIAS - our learning platform
You can find all information about the ILIAS learning platform here. The Computer Center offers regular training sessions on ILIAS. You can find the schedule here. There are also some tutorials on course design using the platform.
Our approach to AI
We view the new AI tools available since late 2022 as both a challenge and an opportunity for higher education. Here you will find resources on this topic. In particular, theGuide on working with AI offers helpful tips for courses.
The KU offers all students, lecturers, and staff access to ChatGPT at ai.ku.de. Registration is effected using your KU user ID and is only possible within the university network or via VPN. No personal data needs to be provided beyond that.
Digital tools for your teaching practice

Video studio
The HR Development and Professional Training department has set up a video studio that can be used for instructional videos, conference presentations, and similar purposes. You can find more information here.
