About the research focus:
The requirements for learning programs at higher education institutions are changing due to increasing digitalization in teaching, student demands, and the pace of change in the economy and the labor market. Social innovation and entrepreneurship courses are subject to constant change due to their practical relevance in equipping students with valuable competencies and aiming to solve real-world problems.
By analyzing entrepreneurship-focused action and service learning formats that connect business students with impact entrepreneurs, we address different perspectives within our research. One research perspective is the development of transversal competencies like self-management or social and professional responsibility skills. Another angle is the role of artificial intelligence in impact entrepreneurship action and service learning formats and how integrating AI tools in the curriculum influences the learning outcomes.
The professorship cooperates on these topics with various partners, such as the Bayer Foundation, Impact Intelligence, and the Miller Center of Social Entrepreneurship.
