The Chair for Theology of the Christian East at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt endeavores to establish the "Eastern Christian Studies ONLINE CAMPUS". This digital platform will mobilise, compile, and integrate the widely despersed expertise in Eastern Christian Studies. With new approaches and interdisciplinary perspectives in the international discourse, the connectivity of the "Rare Subject" is enhanced. The strategic project of structually strengthening rather precarious "World Knowledge" is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.
