Romanian
Romanian is the most eastern of all Romance languages and is spoken as the official language in Romania (and the Republic of Moldova) by around 30 million native speakers. With approximately 17 million members, the Romanian Orthodox Church is the second largest Orthodox autocephalous church after the Patriarchate of Moscow. The inclusion of Romanian ecclesiastical literature is essential for the academic study of Eastern theology.
