Letters of Reference

If you need a letter of reference for a semester abroad or a consecutive masters or doctoral studies please send all the documents below to our secretaries office. It is required that you have successfully passed at least one course offered by us.

The required documents comprise the following:

• Information on the purpose for which you need the letter of reference and the deadline
• Further information on whether you need the letter of reference in German or in English (not both!)
• Your curriculum vitae
• Your transcript of records
• A covering letter for the program you are applying for
• The address to which we should send the letter of reference

If you would like your letter of reference to contain further information about specific classes or extra-curricular activities please tell us what you would like us to emphasize (in the required language).
