Major Marketing, Management and Logistics (B. Sc.)

Concept and Purpose

The Bachelor's major in "Marketing, Management and Logistics" aims to impart comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of marketing and management. You will learn how customer and service-oriented behavior can be planned, implemented and managed in companies. In the field of marketing, for example, the major covers topics such as consumer behavior, service and technology marketing or global marketing management. The field of management, on the other hand, contains topics such as strategic management at national and international level, entrepreneurship and innovation. Students will also learn about the necessary quantitative and qualitative methods. The field of logistics teaches content-related and methodological knowledge on the design and operation of production and logistics systems as well as cross-company logistics chains. A wide range of subjects from the fields of economics, operations research and computer science allows students to tailor their studies to their individual interests and skills.

Students who would like to deepen their knowledge of the subject area as much as possible will also have the opportunity to gain insights into various industries (e.g. automotive industry, tourism) through practice-oriented courses.

Structure of the major

The major comprises 25 ECTS, which are obtained by taking 4-5 mandatory elective courses.

Target Group

The major is primarily aimed at students who have a special interest in questions of strategic, market-oriented, and international management. Possible professional fields range from (international) strategy consulting, strategic planning, and corporate development to marketing, product, and service management.
