We’re Here for You

The Chair of Innovation and Creativity at WFI is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research and teaching in the fields of innovation, consumer psychology and behavior, branding, and entrepreneurship. We explore how people think, feel, and make decisions - especially in contexts shaped by limited information, social stereotypes, and personal well-being.

In teaching, the chair offers hands-on, practice-oriented courses, close cooperation with successful, established companies, and innovative start-ups. Our course offerings include Innovation and Creativity, Startup School, Consumer Psychology and Decision Making, WFI Summer School, Innovating for Sustainability, and the Science of Happiness. We aim to develop our students to have skills in critical thinking, complex problem solving, cognitive flexibility, creativity, and emotional intelligence.

Research at the chair addresses timely and impactful topics such as innovation management strategies, including open innovation, collaborative innovation, and responsible innovation; and consumer research, including consumer inference making, implicit theories, and stereotypes. Through our research, we aim to generate knowledge that informs both academia and practice.

Explore our website to learn more about our team, latest news at the chair, our current research projects, classes, and thesis topics. We look forward to connecting with you and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Click here to contact us anytime.
