The Chair of Service Management enables the flexible planning and implementation of cooperations. If you are interested, please contact us to present the possibilities of a cooperation.
Our partnerships are designed to be flexible and iterative. Whether you're diving into a short-term project or embarking on a long-term initiative, we offer a range of cooperation models which can be adapted according to your needs with regard to project type and duration.
We are looking forward to exciting insights into practice in both Bachelor and Master courses. A guest lecture and/or a workshop offer the opportunity to get in contact with students without obligation and to talk about the application of scientific concepts and theories in the company and to exchange ideas. A lecture or workshop can take place during the lecture period (winter: October - January; summer: May - July) as well as within Master and Bachelor courses.
Within the framework of the final thesis, a Bachelor's or Master's student works on a practical problem and question, which also represents a relevant subject of investigation in science. The period of time required to complete the thesis is two months for Bachelor's theses and six months for Master's theses. It is possible to start the cooperation on an ongoing basis.
Project seminars and project courses can be offered each semester (beginning of April and October) and for the duration of one semester. Committed Master's students analyse and work on practical problems and issues of the cooperation partner and experience professional supervision and coordination from the department. In opening, interim and final presentations, the project status is presented to the practice partner and intensively discussed. Finally, a detailed project report is prepared.
A research assistant (doctoral candidate or postdoctoral researcher) addresses a practical problem or question. Over an extended period, a mutually discussed topic is explored through collaborative empirical studies, leading to significant implications for research and practice. Within this framework, publications in academic and possibly practice-oriented journals are pursued, along with planned presentations and lectures.
If you are interested in a potential collaboration, please feel free to contact us directly without any obligation. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we can work together.
