The WFI Summer School 2022

High class program

  • Two weeks program featuring seven courses
  • Up to 10.0 ECTS credits (depending on individual choice of courses)
  • Keynote speaker will be İrem Güçeri (Blavatnik School of Government) on Government Policies for Business
  • Company visits and manager and research talks
  • Cultural activities (excursion to Neuschwanstein Castle)
  • German and Bavarian cultural session
  • Further attractive activities

Target group

  • Master students (BA, Economics, Social Sciences, Law) and advanced BA students
  • The WFI Summer School is also open for PhD students.
  • Basics in Economics and Business Administration required
  • A good command of English is required (min. B2)

Fees

  • Early application fee: 600 EUR with application before 28 February 2022
  • 750.00 EUR for participants (600.00 EUR + 150.00 EUR social fee)
  • 150.00 EUR for local WFI students

The course fee will be invoiced after your application has been approved. The acceptance letter will be sent out as soon as the WFI has received your payment. The course fee can be easily paid via PAYPAL.

Note - Refund Policy: If the event is canceled due to COVID, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Scholarships

The WFI offers the best 14 applicants a partial scholarship in the amount of a travel allowance of 250,00 EUR (for students from EU countries) and 500,00 EUR (for students from non-EU countries). All complete and admitted applicants will automatically be included in this scholarship selection, which is expected to take place in May and on the basis of the quality of the application, social criteria and, if applicable, exchange balance with the home university.

  • Competitive selection procedure
  • Required documents: transcript of records, language proficiency report English (min. B2), cv, photo, letter of motivation
  • Online application
  • Deadline for applications:
    • Early-bird deadline: February 15, 2022
    • If a visa is required: March 31, 2022
    • If no visa is required: May 20, 2022

The many challenges presented by the pandemic mean that extended wait times in the visa issuing process have to be expected. The earlier application deadline is intended to give applicants more time to apply.
