General terms and conditions
- Registration must be accompanied by payment. Registration is not possible on site.
- Registrations are for the person acquiring the registration and paying the registration fee; registrations are non-transferable.
- Registration for the conference implies the acceptance of the code of conduct.
- Changes to registration invoices are only possible with regard to the invoice address or order references. Any such claims must be received by Copernicus Meetings no later than six weeks after the last day of the conference. Later requests cannot be considered.
- Changes to the registration selected in the finalized registration form, including received invoice, are only possible for unpaid invoices. In this case, the attendee is asked to cancel the registration order and to place a new one through the registration form.
- Registered participants understand that parts of the ICCE2024 might be recorded and/or photographed. By registering, they acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the ICCE2024 their image and/or voice may be recorded by an official of the conference or designated staff. This material may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organizers, printed or online.
- Registered participants agree that their abstract (if one is submitted) and all corresponding data, including the email address of the corresponding author, will be published and distributed in a printed version/online by the organizers of the ICCE2024.
- Registered participants agree that the organizers of ICCE2024 receive their contact email address to provide up to date information regarding the symposium. Corresponding mails may be sent by the organizers before, during, and after the event.
Cancellation policy
- Registration fees will only be refunded if the notice of cancellation is received by Copernicus Meetings until July 16th, 2024, 23:59 CEST. The cancellation fee is €60 before June 25th, 23:59 CEST, €150 between June 26th and July 16th, 23:59 CEST.
- Cancellations after July 16th, 2024, and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
- There is no reason (including but not limited to illness) for registration cancellation that makes the above-mentioned deadline for cancellations inapplicable.
Presentation guidelines
- Posters: A0 | Portrait format
- Oral presentations: 15 min including discussion
- All authors on a presentation and/or abstract should have agreed to their co-authorship and have contributed to the work
- It is prohibited to take photos or record scientific material shown in any type of presentation (e.g., oral, poster) unless the presenter authorises it explicitly.

Respectful behaviour
- Attendees and organisers shall treat all individuals with respect; bullying, harassment, intimidation, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at any event and on any outreach channel associated with the ICCE2024 symposium.
- Respectful conduct of debates, exchange, and any other type of interactions is expected from all participants.
- No political statement is allowed at any event and on any outreach channel associated with the ICCE2024.
- Please switch off any mobile phones or set them to mute mode during the sessions.
