Registration EXTENDED TO APRIL 3rd !
Welcome on the registration page for the ICCE 2024 symposium.
The Registration period has been extended until April 3rd, 2024, 23:59. During the registration, you can upload an abstract (500 words) and indicate whether you prefer oral or poster presentation. The decision will be made by the organising committee. Registered participants will be informed by May 28th on the acceptance (and form) of their presentation. Should you (as a registered participant) want to submit more than one abstract, please contact us via icce2024(at)ku.de.
The registration rate for every participant is 250,-- €.
It includes
- Conference organisation and student assistants helping us (and you) during the conference
- Book of abstracts and other conference material
- Icebreaker party on July 23rd
- Lunches, drinks/coffee and snacks on the conference days (July 24th and 25th)
You can tell us about dietary requirements in the registration form. - Conference dinners on July 24th and July 25th (drinks not included) in typical Bavarian "Wirtshaus" restaurants.
- A "head fee" of 30 € net we have to pass on to IAHS
If you want to participate in the post-conference field trip on July 26th to one of our study areas in the Bavarian Alps, you can register for this event as long as the maximum number of participant (28) has not been reached. The cost for the field trip is 60,-- € and includes
- Journey to the study area and back to Eichstaett in small buses
- Packed lunch and water

Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and a list of hotels where we have reserved room contingents at special rates between 45 and 100 EUR per night. As the meeting takes place during the main holiday season in Germany, we recommend that you book your accommodation soon after registering. Options for financial support
Young colleagues from disadvantaged countries taking part in the ICCE2024 symposium are eligible for receiving support from the following institutions or programmes. We have applied for other funding schemes and will amend the list as soon as we receive approvals.

General terms and conditions
- Registration must be accompanied by payment. Registration is not possible on site.
- Registrations are for the person acquiring the registration and paying the registration fee; registrations are non-transferable.
- Registration for the conference implies the acceptance of the code of conduct.
- Changes to registration invoices are only possible with regard to the invoice address or order references. Any such claims must be received by Copernicus Meetings no later than six weeks after the last day of the conference. Later requests cannot be considered.
- Changes to the registration selected in the finalized registration form, including received invoice, are only possible for unpaid invoices. In this case, the attendee is asked to cancel the registration order and to place a new one through the registration form.
- Registered participants understand that parts of the ICCE2024 might be recorded and/or photographed. By registering, they acknowledge and consent that during their attendance at the ICCE2024 their image and/or voice may be recorded by an official of the conference or designated staff. This material may be distributed or published at the discretion of the organizers, printed or online.
- Registered participants agree that their abstract (if one is submitted) and all corresponding data, including the email address of the corresponding author, will be published and distributed in a printed version/online by the organizers of the ICCE2024.
- Registered participants agree that the organizers of ICCE2024 receive their contact email address to provide up to date information regarding the symposium. Corresponding mails may be sent by the organizers before, during, and after the event.
Cancellation policy
- Registration fees will only be refunded if the notice of cancellation is received by Copernicus Meetings until July 16th, 2024, 23:59 CEST. The cancellation fee is €60 before June 25th, 23:59 CEST, €150 between June 26th and July 16th, 23:59 CEST.
- Cancellations after July 16th, 2024, and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
- There is no reason (including but not limited to illness) for registration cancellation that makes the above-mentioned deadline for cancellations inapplicable.

Respectful behaviour
- Attendees and organisers shall treat all individuals with respect; bullying, harassment, intimidation, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated at any event and on any outreach channel associated with the ICCE2024 symposium.
- Respectful conduct of debates, exchange, and any other type of interactions is expected from all participants.
- No political statement is allowed at any event and on any outreach channel associated with the ICCE2024.
- Please switch off any mobile phones or set them to mute mode during the sessions.
Presentations
- Presenters are asked to familiarise themselves with specific presenter guidelines for the meeting, if available. All authors on a presentation and/or abstract should have agreed to their co-authorship and have contributed to the work
- It is prohibited to take photos or record scientific material shown in any type of presentation (e.g., oral, poster) unless the presenter authorises it
