Auf Einladung des ZRKG wird Mendoza-Álvarez über die Kraft des Widerstands und den Mut zum Leben in einer Welt nachdenken, die immer tiefer in systemische Gewalt abgleitet. Der mexikanische Theologe und Dominikaner nimmt die Erfahrung von Opfern und Überlebenden zum Ausgangspunkt, um in den Schrecken unserer Zeit nach Spuren tragfähiger Hoffnung zu suchen. Resurrection is an event that bursts into history as another mode of temporality: one that is sown by the righteous people of history as an overabundance of divine love. This eschatological event is a messianic anticipation that we can understand and experience in all its radicality thanks to Jesus of Nazareth and his community of survivors. For us today, believing in the resurrection implies the emergence of a new life with dignity, resilience, and hope.
