  • 2017 Venia legendi for General and Comparative Literature and Romance Literatures (University of Konstanz). Habilitation thesis: "Writing in Archipelagos. Aphorism and proverb in (post-)colonial contexts of French, Spanish and Portuguese language".
  • 2010 Doctorate (PhD) in the Department of Literary Studies at the University of Konstanz; doctoral thesis: "Raum-Zeiten. Narrating and Showing in Seville in the Early Modern Period".

  • 2011 Award of the City of Konstanz for the promotion of young scientists for the doctoral thesis "Raum-Zeiten im Umbruch. Erzählen und Zeigen im Sevilla der Frühen Neuzeit".
