The changes and crises of our time require the knowledge and commitment of everyone in science and society. This is the only way to achieve a successful transition to sustainability. That is why we at STS combine contemporary approaches and initiatives from all disciplines and faculties that deal with social challenges and transformation processes.
Our scientists work closely with partners from research and practice in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams. In this way, we aim to combine basic research and application-oriented knowledge, artistic and cultural education, and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice in order to develop socially robust, sustainable ideas and solutions.
