The Chair of Didactics of Religion, Catechetics, and Religious Education has developed the research project „Fitte Familien – Moderne Bildungsangebote speziell für Familien“ in collaboration with the Diözesanarbeitsgemeinschaft der katholischen Erwachsenenbildung (KEB DiAG) at the Eichstätt diocese.
The adult education project „Fitte Familien – Moderne Bildungsangebote speziell für Familien“ is implemented by the Chair of Didactics of Religion, Catechetics, and Religious Education and is led by Prof. Dr. Ulrich Kropač. Lorenz Reichelt works as academic project speaker. He has studied in the teaching degree program at the KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt with subject combination Mathematics and Catholic Religious Education and successfully completed his first state examination. After this, he obtained his Magister degree in Catholic Theology, also at the KU. From February 2017 to September 2018, Mr. Reichelt worked as contact person for the project “Fitte Familien”.
The partner of the project is the Katholische Erwachsenenbildung - Diözesangemeinschaft Eichstätt (KEB DiAG), a merger of all educational institutions supported by the Eichstätt diocese which offer adult education programs in the diocese.
The aim of the project is to document and analyze available local educational offers for families (in the districts of Eichstätt and Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen) in collaboration with the KEB DiAG. In a next step, the project seeks to develop, implement, evaluate and document adapted educational offers which are tailored to the needs of families on an exemplary basis.
The intended outcome of the project is to develop a regional concept for approaching the target group “families”, which will, however, generally also be suitable for implementation in a modified way by other Catholic educational institutions.
