Bachelor's / Master's theses at our chair

On this page you can find all information related to the preparation of academic papers at the Department of International Management. Our chair offers bachelor's and master's theses in the field of international and cross-cultural management as well as in the field of marketing.

Please note that since April 1, 2024, the application procedure has been changed and the allocation of thesis topics not takes place throughout the year. There is no longer an application deadline and you can therefore submit your application to the Chair at any time.

Our department is responsible for the approval of the thesis topic and the thesis outline.

Students who are interested in writing their bachelor's or master's thesis at the Department of International Management have to fill out the application form and send it with a short email to wfi-im@ku.de. You will then receive prompt feedback as to whether there is currently capacity available and whether you can write your thesis at our department.

Possible Topics

To find a topic for your thesis, please refer to our specific research fields, which can be found on the website of our scientific staff.

Additionally, you will find a list of possible thesis topics, sorted by bachelor and master theses. In principle, it is always possible to contribute your own topic ideas. The choice of topic does not play a role in the awarding of supervision.
