For the third time, KU, in collaboration with the Catholic University of America, the Migration Studies Summer Academy (MSSA) took place. On Friday, November 5, developments in international research on migration were highlighted. In five presentations from the field of sociology, communication studies, and economics, professors and research assistants introduced their current research results. More than 20 professors, researchers, and students of both Catholic universities participated. We thank all of the speakers and the ones who helped in organizing the digital seminar.
The MSSA is part of a global research initiative to advance collaborations and science among an international group of Catholic universities. The MSSA was developed jointly by the Center for Flight and Migration and the CUA and had been taking place since 2019.
