Support for Women at the KU
The University provides targeted support for female researchers at all qualification levels with a range of measures. These measures include the KU Scholarship Program, the Strategic Fund for Innovative Equal Opportunity Projects, Coaching offers and the KU Mentoring Program, Support measures for newly appointed female professors and Special Support Measures for Female Scientists.
These measures are largely financed by funds from the Professorinnenprogramm III of the German federal and state governments, whose objective is to advance the equality of men and women in academia and to contribute to greater gender equality.
