Méri Frotscher Kramer is a historian at the State University of the Middle‑West of Paraná (Universidade Estadual do Centro‑Oeste), Brazil. Her research focuses on migration (especially return migrations), memory, identity, cultural heritage, nationalism, and the history of German and European migration to Brazil. In this talk she considers return migrations under Nazism between 1938‑1939.
